The position is based in Monthey and is a full-time contract (100%)

Reporting to the Site Manager

Principal Accountabilities And Responsibilities Include
  • Ownership for production resources management (manpower & assets)
  • Ensuring safe operations and compliance to all relevant EHS/PSM & quality standards
  • Ensuring high performance within his team: subordinates performance review, coaching, definition of training needs, talents development, succession planning
  • Fostering and driving continuous improvement towards excellence
  • Budgeting and monitoring of production costs
  • Development of manufacturing flexibility and efficiency
  • Providing leadership for improving assets efficiency and reliability (CAPEX plan)
  • Providing leadership and taking responsibility for production schedule adherence and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborating with different departments (EHS, Engineering & Maintenance, Process Development, QA/QC, Procurement, Portfolio Management, Marketing & Sales, Finances…)
Education, Experience And Specific Skills
  • University degree (master or higher) in chemistry or chemical engineering.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the field of chemical production in a similar position
  • Demonstrated leadership competences
  • Business driven
  • Interpersonal and communication skills
  • Collaborative personality
  • At ease in complex and changing environments
  • Fluent in English and French
  • Knowledge of lean & agile manufacturing methodologies is a plus
