Tasks

3Brain is looking for a full-time production technician to scale up the production and speed up the shipment of its devices. Working together with the production team, your responsibility will be to take care and improve our production processes, to supervise the supply chain and the shipping of products to ensure customer satisfaction. The main tasks are:

  • Manage and execute manufacturing of our products (i.e., end-assembly and testing, supply chain management, soldering wires and PCBs, procurement, inventory, shipping of finished products, RMAs etc.)
  • Implement and monitor quality assurance of high-end biomedical instrumentation devices and sensors
  • Execute production-related engineering for jigs and tools
  • Troubleshoot production problems related to equipment, processes, quality, and systems
  • Execute existing test procedures on our products Develop and maintain proper documentation for production and quality test processes, and provide statistical data analysis and reporting
  • Build and maintain suitable stock levels of our products to ensure customer orders can be fulfilled
  • Prepare, register and ship customer orders while accurately manage logistics and database software to keep stock updated and populated
Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • An apprenticeship or technical degree (e.g., HF) in electronics or automation
  • Skills and interests in practical work execution (“a maker, not a theorist”)
  • Good soldering skills
  • Team player with initiative, positive attitude and able to work independently
  • Ability to complete assignments with attention to detail and high degree of accuracy and reliability
  • Good interpersonal relationship skills, problem solving/troubleshooting skills, and written/verbal communication skills
  • Fluent English
  • Applicant must have an EU/EFTA or Swiss Citizenship
Additional Qualifications

  • Experience with logistics and shipment across borders is a great plus
  • Interest to grow in an engineering environment
  • Interest in programming/scripting
  • German language skills
