At lastminute.com we work hard in order to simplify the life of our Travel Agents in order to offer the best in class experience to our customers, this is the reason why we are looking for a Project and Product Manager for the automatization of the GDS process.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain current GDS (Amadeus, Sabre) parsing solutions in place, by analysing performance, failure rate, bugs and proceed to resolution with internal or external partners
  
  

• Continuous improvement on the automatizations in place: understand how the current automatizations could better perform and extend their applications
  
  

• Investigate and propose new alternative automatizations for delivery team, with the scope of reducing costs and reduce agent manual work
  
  

• Investigate and propose alternatives to current GDS agent experience, with the aim to facilitate the manual work by increasing efficiency and reducing human errors
  
  

• Provide Gds Hardware/Software technical Analysis & Tests on current system flows and new developments
  
  

• Deliver new products and robotics up to speed, by supporting the connected change management processes to help the adaption of new system environments
  
  

• Establishing solid Business Relationships with Gds Suppliers (Sabre & Amadeus)
  
  

• Recommend solutions to Operative problems or area of improvements, considering at all times, both short term added value and also long term added value, with an eye on impact and the outcome of it
  
  

• Create business cases to support his proposal to the stakeholders, has ownership on what is approved and facilitates the implementation by collaborating with internal and external departments.
  
  

• GDS expert with strong experience in GDS tools and automatizations
  
  

• Data query would be an advantage
  
  

• Proved Project management skills in GDS environment
  
  

• Able to support his/her view and proposed solutions/projects to senior company leaders
  
  

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to translate IT technical language into everyday terms which users can understand, specifically non-technical senior management
  
  

• Negotiating and persuading skills both with internal departments and external providers
