Our unit Gas Insulated Switchgears (GIS), based in Zuerich-Oerlikon, is active in the development and production of gas insulated switching systems. We ensure the high reliability of our systems by using state-of-the-art development tools and methods. For our High Voltage Products division at the Zurich-Oerlikon site, we are looking for a competent personality whom we would like to train as a project engineer for high-voltage systems. In this position we offer you a lot of freedom with occasional travel. Responsibilities: Project planning and technical detailing of gas-insulated switchgear, including preparation of all necessary documents for order, fabrication, assembly and customers Discussion of technical solutions with customers and internal stakeholders Management of all technical communication channels internally as well as externally. Project execution and ordering of required material including necessary configuration Responsibility for project costs, deadlines & scope of delivery Detailed elaboration for quality cases and improvement processes Technical support of the project until completion of on-site assembly
Your background: Completed technical studies (Technical university or university of applied sciences or an advanced technical diploma) Interest in sustainability and energy management initiative, commitment and ability to learn Reliability, stress resistance and team player Very high quality and deadline awareness Good analytical and conceptual skills Well-structured way of working Clear, open and direct communication abilities Very good knowledge of English, knowledge of German would be an advantage Good knowledge of AutoCAD and Creo would be an advantage
