Mission

As our Project Engineer, you’ll carry out technical and economic feasibility studies and manage application studies in collaboration with internal and external specialists. You’ll also prepare technical documents and economic offers for tender applications and customer proposals. In the implementation phase, you’ll be the bridge between the product development and R&D team, and the sales and communication team.

Along with your experience within ExerGo, you’ll identify key technical requirements to fit specific business cases and optimize the project with the sales team. Thus, you’ll contribute to the company growth.

Main responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of project tenders and customer proposals (technical and commercial documentation)
• Communicate and collaborate with the product development team on key techno-economic opportunities, contributing to shape the company sales strategy
• Participate in the automation of engineering processes to increase the team efficiency in techno-economic analysis (IT tools, procedures, internal protocols)
• Exchange with key suppliers to obtain quotations
• Participate in the strategic product development process
• Training of junior engineers
• General management of works, planning and meeting deadlines, procurement, communication, financial and quality monitoring etc. on each project
• Optimizing projects to ensure flexible operation and integrate future needs

Profile

• Completed master’s degree in the field of Mechanical/Energy/Process Engineering with additional training (ES, Masters, MAS)
• Very good technical and economic knowledge of the field of heating networks, production and building technology (HVACSE)
• Experience in the development and implementation of energy concepts for neighbourhoods, industrial sites, remote heating, or energy loops
• More than 2 years’ experience in large-scale project management, ideally with additional training and experience in agile work methods
• Good knowledge of relevant legislation, standards, and requirements in the field of sustainable development and energy
• Fluent in written and spoken English, and a sound knowledge of French and German. Other languages are an asset
• Proficient in IT tools needed for the job
• Basic knowledge of CAD tools (Autodesk products, FreeCad, etc.)
• Demonstrated ability to write high quality technical documentation
• Autonomous and proactive working style with excellent working organisation skills and ethics
• Effective communicator, have excellent relationship skills, and you enjoy working in a team with different professional and cultural backgrounds.
