We are looking for a Project Manager Logistics Operation Optimization (m/f/d) for Lonza AG (100%) in Visp. This is a temporary position for 12 months.

Key Responsibilities
  • Day to day responsibility for project; manages overall delivery of tasks and resources from Lonza; logs risks and issues, reports regular progress against agreed measures.
  • Responsible for planning, developing, delivering, and tracking change management deliverables including communications, stakeholder engagement, change impact assessment (CIA), organizational readiness analysis, coaching, resistance management, and change reinforcement
  • Main point of contact for the internal and external project team and works hand in hand with the external Project Manager
  • Co-ordinates Project Board Meetings and phase sign-offs (acceptance criteria) with the business.
  • Responsible for the communications plan for the project
  • Perform other duties that are aligned with the incumbent’s skills, experience and competencies as assigned. These other duties can’t compromise the employee’s wellbeing and workload.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Project Management, SCM, Logistics
  • Extensive relevant experience in managing Logistics projects and interacting with Logistic Service Providers
  • Relevant experience within the Pharma industry and its Supply Chain and managing according stakeholders
  • Proven track record of leading/implementing Supply Chain improvement projects
  • Business fluent German and English required
  • Extraordinary Stakeholder Management, Negotiation Skills
  • Ability to simplify complex context
  • People Management Experience with and without formal authority
  • Business Acumen and understanding how SCM is linked to other functions like QA, Commercial, etc; Understanding how Logistic Service Providers work
  • Basic understanding of EDI Interfaces
  • Experience to work and influence decisions in a matrix organization
