AREA SALES MANAGER ATOMIC (M/F/D)

In this exciting and challenging role, you have an important position in the ATOMIC organization with developing the local ATOMIC Sales team. Therefore, we are seeking an operational, structured, innovative and pro-active Area Sales Manager for the world`s leading skiing brand – ATOMIC.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales & Distribution

  • Achieve the seasonal sales and distribution targets in the defined territory
  • Meet the seasonal key product category objectives in sales and distribution
  • Develop a local plan to follow Atomic brand guidelines, strategies and priorities
  • Identify territory sales, distribution and promotion opportunities
  • Take care the customer relationship both for the commercial and accounting aspects

Relationship

  • Develop and maintain great working relationships with key personnel in each account
  • Maximize in-person contact and sales coverage with territory accounts

In-store excellence

  • Increase and maximize Atomic in-store Brand presence and image with both customers and consumers (all touchpoints)
  • Negotiate in-shop space and “develop” layouts/merchandising concepts for accounts to ensure brand visibility

Reporting

  • Analyze and report competitors’ distribution, in-store presence and offer
  • On seasonal basis, prepare and review customer performance report
  • Keep Market Manager informed of trade related information on an ongoing basis
  • Complete all reports and records required and submit on a timely manner

YOUR PROFILE AND REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:

  • Sense of customer service: Understand and integrate the needs of internal/external clients, in order to respond adequately in line with the interest of the company.
  • Output orientation: Develop and manage operational results: set themselves ambitious targets, achieve them and know when to step back in order to improve the results. Be proactive, assert themselves when making decisions.
  • Ability to work as a team member and to collaborate: Promote information sharing and team spirit, contribute to collective efficiency.
  • Ability to lead and/or support the change: Encourage, bring about and manage the change. Be able to question themselves and adjust their behavior and methods (if necessary) to achieve the expected results.
  • Professional commitment: Demonstrate passion and personal investment in order to develop our brands and products.
  • Integrity and trust: Respect corporate values and the duty of confidentiality.
  • Negotiation skills, Managing objections.
  • Mothertongue French plus fluent in German / English.
  • Good knowledge of IT systems (Microsoft office) and fast in learning new tools (Sales Portal, B2B).
  • Knowledge of specific territory Sports Distribution.
  • Living in Suisse romande mandatory

NEEDED WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • At least 3-4 years of experience in sales with a strong winter sport equipment expertise
  • Any other experience in the Sports and Outdoor Industry will be welcomed
  • Market experience, deep understanding of the sport, strong sales and execution skills
