In this role you will be responsible for ensuring, safeguarding and optimizing the automated production equipment. You will handle third level trouble shooting of automated equipment such as robot cells, AGVs and pick & place equipment. Additionally, you will help implementing new automated cells and contribute to continuously improve existing equipment and handling processes.Your responsibilities
  • Highly committed teamwork in projects aiming the development of new automation cells from design to ramp-up in production
  • Take over responsibilities and improve existing automated processes. Programming and optimization of automated cells (robots, AGV’s, automated storages) to ensure highly qualitative production throughput and output
  • Adapt existing equipment in order to improve quality. Implementation of cost saving changes
  • Provide, monitor and analyze performance parameters (SPC, OEE-numbers, logfiles, cycle time) in order to assess and continuously improve production performances
  • Play an active role in developing pioneering new products and related automated handling, in addition to overseeing their integration within the manufacturing environment
  • Document and communicate all work
  • Training of production personnel
Your background
  • Minimum Bachelor degree in Electro- or information engineering, mechatronics, system- or mechanical engineering (or equivalent)
  • Knowledge in robot programming and control technology, Siemens S7
  • Knowledge in interfaces between robots and production equipment, certified training in robotics is a plus
  • Good communication skills required as well as high level of ownership
  • Willingness to work in a cleanroom
  • Excellent command of English and ideally also German, any additional language is a plus
