We are looking for an experienced, energetic leader to join the founder team as a Chief Product Officer (CPO) to design and bring to life a strong, differentiating vision for our digital platform and ecosystem, and drive its delivery. An entrepreneurial mindset combined with a strong user obsession, “can do” mentality and strong execution capability are prerequisites for this role.

As our CPO you will lead the product (app) and web strategy and execution at Matchspace Music. The key areas of responsibility will be team & leadership (lead remote app and web development teams), product- and web strategy, digital marketing tech stack including process automation, analytics and cross-functional collaboration. You will be a member of the management team driving overall strategy, leadership, and success with Matchspace Music.

Tasks
  • Envision, lead and drive the product roadmap of our digital platform (B2B2C, SaaS) and website working closely with marketing and sales to build an unparalleled user experience
  • Create and own the product roadmap and lifecycle, from customer discovery and user research to development and delivery, driven by a deep understanding of our customers and aligning to our product vision as well as key metrics for the business
  • Consistently identify innovation and growth levers to deepen and extend our value to users as well as to enable marketplace and international expansion
  • Analyze key growth metrics to drive user activity, engagement, conversion, retention and revenue growth
  • Lead and enable a strong product team to execute on the product roadmap through setting objectives, coaching, empowering, hiring and retaining talent
  • Overall responsibility for the digital marketing tech stack including automation, advertising, analytics and dashboarding, search quality to support the growth strategy
  • Ownership for the tool landscape to support process automation and integration across the tech stack (including CRM)
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in product development incl. B2C, B2B and marketplace knowledge
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in managing a development team ideally in a high-growth company
  • Hands-on experience as a product manager with a can-do attitude
  • Proven obsession with user experience, customer journey and conversion optimization
  • Hunger to bring to life a transformative digital platform and ecosystem that challenge the status quo
  • Experience in a start-up / scale-up environment, experience with scaling up businesses internationally is a plus
  • Expert on customer discovery, product discovery and product development processes, agile software development methodology
  • Experience with various tools along the marketing funnel including SEM, marketing automation, CRM, analytics and dashboarding
  • Deep understanding of process mapping and automation with the help of dedicated tools to increase customer experience and reduce administrative workload
  • Proven quantitative and qualitative skills and deep data knowledge and basic coding knowledge
  • Ability to attract, motivate, and hire a high-performance product team
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Fluent in English and German
