Employee Engagement Intern

Together with the Employee Engagement Manager & Specialist, the Employee Engagement Intern is responsible to help delivering the MSC Cruises’ Employee Engagement strategy and Internal Communications initiatives. He/she plays an instrumental role in adapting and improving existing communication channels to keep finding innovative ways of engaging staff across the organization globally, both ashore and on board.

• Supports day-to-day internal engagement initiatives and campaigns to ensure the Company’s culture,values and objectives are clearly communicated to MSC Cruises employees both on shore and ashore;

• Creates and delivers content for Internal Communications & social media channels that enables the implementation of the Employee Engagement strategy, considering current Company’s global goals as well as in-market business objectives;

• Works with internal stakeholders to deliver relevant and high-value Employee Engagement and Internal Communications initiatives;

• Assists the Employee Engagement Team in promoting internal communications’ best practices globally, and manages key relationships with both global and in-market colleagues and communications peers;

• Is actively involved in the continuous improvement of Internal Communications channels, with a core focus on the Company’s global Intranet;

• Takes a hands-on approach in supporting the Employee Engagement Team in supporting the further development of the Company’s global Intranet to become a high-performing tool, able to both engage employees and provide them with the tools they need to do their jobs;

• Bachelor or Master Level in Public Relations or Communication studies;

• A previous experience or internship in Public Relations or Communication is a strong advantage;

• Native (or negotiation-level) English, knowledge of German, Spanish, French or Italian is an advantage;

• High level of computer literacy and good knowledge of communication channels technology (intranet,social media etc.);

• Knowledge of multimedia content creation and social media platforms, with a special focus on LinkedIn is an advantage;

• Creative flair, with a strong eye for detail and the ability to think (and deliver) outside the box;

• Results-oriented ability to handle multiple tasks and work to precise timelines;

• Pro-active team member, able to make recommendations or suggestions to improve Employee Engagement initiatives and move them forward with little supervision;

• Flexible with an unshakable can-do attitude, he/she will bring energy, dynamism, and a robust approach to help the overall Communications team get things done;

• The ideal candidate should be available to start as soon as possible and should be able to sign an internship agreement with MSC Cruises;

• Right to work in Switzerland;
