Introduction
The IBM Client Innovation Centre (CIC) is an innovative and exciting part of IBM, working as IBM Global Business Services’ technical delivery partner. We continually innovate for our customers, employees and shareholders. Our Technical Skills range from Application Development (Java, Front End, Full Stack, DevOps), Testing Services, Technical Support through to Microsoft. In addition to our technical expertise we can cover Delivery through Project Managers & Project Analysts, Business or Data Analysts.

Join the IBM Client Innovation Center (CIC)! Our team works with different technologies, methods and tools to develop solutions in client projects of IBM in various industries. Become a vital member of the IBM Client Innovation Center (CIC) based on your skills and expertise. You will work in client projects delivering high quality work.


Your impact:
  • Understand the business requirements and strengthen the software development delivery process for our client
  • Develop into an SME role for our Offshore team working out of India (support Offshore model)

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • At least two years of experience in developing ETL language (best on “Talend V6 / V7”)
  • Strong SQL (PL / SQL on Oracle, MSSQL and Sybase) development experience
  • Good knowledge on scripting technologies like Powershell/Shellscript
  • Fluent speaking and writing skills in French and English language.
  • Experience in visualizing & describing complex topics / bring them on paper
  • Strong experience in SW Design work and able to define standards and rules for the team
  • Eager / motivated to learn new things
  • Willing to do “On call” (day and night) support during public holiday and release go lives (shared responsibility of the Onshore team)
  • Good understanding in usage and configuration of a source code repository (best SVN and / or GIT)
  • Basic knowledge in JAVA
  • Swiss nationality or valid Swiss work permit / EU passport

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Experience in the banking sector is a strong plus
  • Knowledge in the Websphere Transformation Extender (WTX) and / or IBM Integration BUS (IIB) technology or willing to learn as a second responsibility in the mid – long term
  • Knowledge on usage and configuration of IBM MQ Series or willing to learn as a second responsibility in the mid – long term


Swiss nationality or valid Swiss work permit / EU passport
