Overview

As the HR Operations and Payroll Manager for Europe, you will be responsible for managing the HR operations and payroll functions across multiple European countries. Your primary priority will include time processing, overseeing payroll operations, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and acting as the primary contact for our International Payroll Providers (ICPs) as well as contact person for all questions regarding payroll, social insurance, health insurance and pension programs, benefits, contracts as well as Data and IT systems etc. With your team you ensure that processes in HR operations are set up in Europe properly to ensure a lean and efficient processing of HR operations processes across Europe. If you enjoy working on the systems side of HR and helping with the digital transformation of the employee life cycle you are the right candidate for this exciting role. You will report to the Sr. Director of HR Europe and work close with the global HR operations and payroll team to ensure AIT standards are met and translated into the European landscape.

Responsibilities

  • You will be part of a dynamic HR team with HR Business Partners who look forward to receiving your support in the areas of payroll, social security, and HR Operations.
  • You will analyze existing processes HR Operation processes and interfaces between our European branches and ICP centers as well as between the global HR operations team in the US.
  • Streamline and work out structure which fulfils the need of the Europe organization, implement, and build with your HR operations team effective processes and workflows. Develop and maintain payroll policies and procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • With your team you will manage all aspects of HR operations and payroll for European offices and serve as the point of contact for ICP`s.
  • Oversee time processing systems and ensure accurate recording of employee hours, develop processes and working procedure to meet the need of the organization in the different countries in line with country laws.
  • Coordinate with ICPs to process payroll accurately and on time.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations in all European countries for all aspects of HR operations.
  • Address any payroll discrepancies or issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Ensure Data management in all countries is ensured, develop, and provide reports, and data insights.
  • Ensure effective communication to all teammates in the countries regarding updates, changes in terms of payroll, tax, or social insurance etc. Stay up to date for any updates in the different countries and ensure those changes are implemented to stay compliant.
  • Lead projects for Europe in terms Go DIGITAL and Service Now to increase the employee experience.
  • Lead projects for Europe integration of new payroll system provider.
  • Change management, ensure that new processes are good aligned, communicated and trained to ensure a smooth implementation of the HR operations landscape in Europe.
  • Support and Lead integration of new acquired organization in terms of benefits, contracts, policy and processes in the HR operations area.
  • Provide support and guidance to HR and management teams on payroll-related matters.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or commercial education.
  • Proven experience in HR operations and payroll management, preferably in a multinational company. Experience in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of European payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Experience working with International Payroll Providers (ICPs) is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of operating for HR operations, ideally experienced in developing it.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data processing.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
