The Global Theraflu Digital Marketing Manager role is responsible in partnering with our brand teams and the lead design markets to develop & manage world-class Global digital marketing programs. This person will be embedded as the core team member in the GSK’s Theraflu team and will be expected to bring a deep specialist digital marketing capability to create competitive differentiation at scale. The role will be to accelerate the sub-categories content marketing and communications by ensuring the consumer is at the heart of all activations and assets are built for the right channel.

We are looking to identify talent to lead our global power brand Theraflu by working in the brand team to manage the project activities for strategy, creative and deployment of digital consumer health programmes.

Major Accountabilities
  • Reporting to the Global Marketing and Digital Director Theraflu.
  • Work with the Theraflu multifunctional team, including insights and marketing, and advertising and earned media agencies to define digital strategies for the brand.
  • Develop Digital assets across Paid / Owned / Earned media (including e-commerce content) in collaboration with lead design markets– driven by KPIs, performance and deployment feedback
  • Implement defined category Digital Marketing Capability for their respective brands and wider marketing and functional support teams
  • Inspire and develop team and organization on Digital Marketing skills for today’s consumer
  • Coach team, peers and colleagues for performance and capability development
  • Partner with the approved Global Digital Agency for successful planning and execution.
  • Drive the strategy, creative testing, roll-out plan in partnership with Design Markets for digital programmes across multiple digital platforms.
  • Develop learning agendas and consolidate key learnings in partnership with brand teams, design markets and cross functional partners for Best in Class asset development.
  • Lead the development of communications plans and content for brand efforts; Work with our agencies, medical and communication partners to issue proactive and reactive communication,
  • Ongoing review KPI’s for programme execution across lead design markets.
  • Focus on ROI of programs to measure effectiveness and proposing adaptations as necessary

Basic Qualifications

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
  • University Degree in Marketing or Communications (Bsc)
  • Demonstrable experience in digital marketing, brand building, and communications
  • Demonstrate ability to come up with creative ideas that can help businesses succeed
  • Command and passion for digital marketing strategy, best practices, trends and tools
  • Strengths in digital marketing include search marketing (SEM/SEO), content marketing, social media, mobile marketing, influencer and earned media campaigns, user generated content, relationship marketing, eCommerce, and use of web analytics and how they are applied
  • Must have full understanding of Paid, Owned, Earned, aspects of Digital marketing and how it fits as part of on overall, integrated marketing mix
  • Proven track record of driving a digital agenda in an organization with transformational results.
  • Ability to build relationships and manage performance of key partners
  • Comfort with ambiguity and building capabilities/organizations with very little definition
Preferred Qualifications

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
  • Excellent command of English language
  • 8 -10 years of experience across marketing, digital, agency.
  • Experience in Digital Agency and in healthcare/consumer with understanding of regulatory environment considered a plus.
