Holcim is looking for a Global Treasury Projects & Technology Manager that will lead projects that improve and simplify the way we work globally leveraging technology when relevant to drive us towards becoming a cost efficient, streamlined and a high quality Treasury function centered on supporting the business growth.

Placed within the Group Treasury Team, the role requires advanced knowledge of treasury processes and banking solutions as well as expertise with treasury management systems and a good knowledge of banking solutions and latest technologies in the market. The role also requires excellent communication skills and proven experience with the implementation of global liquidity management techniques such as inhouse bank and payment factories.
  • Partner with business process owners to understand and design solutions for their Treasury and related system needs
  • Partner with IT to ensure that incidents, changes and projects are moving appropriately
  • Define a roadmap for the global treasury processes and system transformation in collaboration with the Group Treasury team, Business Shared Services and local treasurers
  • Build business cases to provide the decision makers and main stakeholders with an evidence based and transparent assessment of the opportunity and a framework for delivery and performance monitoring of the subsequent project to follow thereafter
  • Develop detailed project plans including, but not limited to, project objectives, scope, timing, budget and resource planning and own communication plans to all stakeholders, end-users, and project members
  • Participate in the implementation and maintenance of the interfaces between our IT, external banking partners and solution providers
  • Contribute to the Treasury policies and procedures to ensure Treasury activities are compliant and assist with internal and external audit requirements
  • Perform treasury administration tasks in alignment with the internal control requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business or related discipline
  • Project Management certification
  • 4-6 Years of experience working in project management in the areas of Treasury/Finance Digital transformation
  • Experience in supporting working capital management initiatives for large, global companies (e.g., decreasing DSO, optimizing DPO, optimizing inventory) and related financial solutions, e.g., supply chain finance & dynamic discounting;
  • Experience in projects related to the implementation of global liquidity management techniques (e.g., pooling, in-house banks, payment factories, multilateral netting).
  • Ability to build a business case and present it to executive stakeholders in a comprehensive manner
  • Ability to analyze complex ideas or proposals and build a range of meaningful recommendations.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks as dictated by business needs while meeting strict deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills - the ability to work with diverse stakeholders in a professional and competent manner
  • Excellent computer skills in MS Office and project management software
