BASED IN:Geneva, city center, with regular travels to GermanyREPORTING TO:Vacheron Constantin Brand Director Central EuropeTEAM:Event & Communication Specialist (Geneva); PR & Marketing Specialist (Geneva)Marketing Coordinator (Munich); PR & Digital Media Manager (Munich)MISSION:To develop Vacheron Constantin brand awareness & desirability in Central Europe, with major focus on Switzerland and Germany, as the reference for high-end Watchmaking and ultimate luxury Client ExperienceOBJECTIVES:To be the brand guardian and ambassador by promoting excellence throughout all activitiesTo raise brand image, desirability, and awareness among potential and existing clients in Central Europe marketTo develop sales opportunities with our existing clients and bring new clients to our boutiquesKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:To develop and own the yearly strategic marketing & communication plan in line with brand guidelinesTo lead all marketing activities across all channels, including press and media, digital, events, trade and retail marketingTo ensure outstanding brand representation across Central Europe at all timesDUTIES:Marketing Strategy & Development:Develop impactful long term marketing vision including event and media strategy, affinity partnership approach and “out of the box” concepts to drive Maison desirabilityOrchestrate Product launches across all POS (IB, EB & POS) & full coordination with all relevant functionsOversee Maison’s events & ensure Maison’s identity is well expressed & conveyed to the audienceSet and roll out event strategy. Balance brand building and sell out oriented eventsIdentify and build key sponsorships and partnerships that meet Maison’s criteria and objectivesDevelop creative concepts to drive ROI and build awarenessManage and control A&P budget, in line with yearly budget & guidelinesEnsure that planned ROI is achieved in each Maison initiativeCommunication Strategy & Development:Further develop Maison’s awareness and desirability in Central EuropeLeverage and adapt locally HQ guidelines and messaging through media plan, digital, PR, Digital and Visual MerchandisingPlan strategic media across all channels and oversee implementationPartner closely with Richemont media agenciesEstablish and build strong connections with various vendors, retailers, publishers, press, collectors, and key opinion leadersMonitor editorial performance & put in place action plans accordinglyDevelop digital strategy and leverage digital channels to recruit & nurture client relationships online (e-com) and offline (drive to store)Translate global visual merchandising programs into local activations across Retail and Wholesale channels. Ensure excellent presence across the networkTeam Development & Performance:Manage and develop marketing and communication team members, in line with Maison’s valuesBuild a strong collaboration network with other key stakeholders within the regional organization, HQ and other marketsEnsure clear guidance, directions & objectives for each team memberPROFILE REQUIREMENTS:
  • 8+ years experience in Marketing and PR for a retail brand
  • Possess experience and knowledge in 360 degrees of marketing ecosystem, including online and offline, with good understanding of new media / digital marketing and proven track record of innovative applications
  • Proven project leader from planning, implementation to delivery with good business acumen, analytical skills, and commercial sense
  • Innovative, creative and comfortable in leading change
  • Team-player, resilient, demanding, agile, creative, rigorous, and solution-oriented
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Meticulous with an eye for detail
  • Excellent oral and writing skills
  • Language: must be fluent in French, English, German
