Your role

As an HR Business Partner in a Production Manufacturing environment, your role will be to deliver high quality interventions across a range of HR-related activities in order to challenge, coach and enable the local Leadership Team to deliver the business strategy and add maximum value to the business. You will also work on the standardization and improvement of HR processes impacted by the HR service delivery transformation.

Your tasks

Employee Life-Cycle

  • Take responsibility for the annual core HR cycle, incl. performance management reviews, promotions and remuneration
  • Partner directly with local leadership to resolve employee issues and actively work with managers to improve engagement, retention, and performance
  • Provide advice and guidance to leadership Team and their Teams on our Talent Strategy, incl. employee value proposition, retention, workforce planning and diversity, equity & inclusion
  • Work effectively in the matrix to create and drive talent and business strategy with leadership, identify and support development plans for the key and high potential employees
  • Coordinate annual performance planning and compensation review process for the teams you are responsible for
  • Partner with hiring managers and talent acquisition team to assess talent needs and strategy to meet with both internal and external recruiting efforts
  • Support the team and employees in HR policies, digital processes and employees questions

Business Partnering

  • Coach and develop the Leadership Team and their teams around HR policies, processes and ways of working.
  • Champion of end-to-end service delivery and understanding of key interdependencies
  • Champion engagement and culture related activities at the shopfloor
  • Implement a targeted leadership/ managerial skills development program
  • Regularly monitor key organizational metrics and proactively use data to identify and analyse issues and influence leadership on recommended actions to build organizational capability

HR Processes and Continuous improvements

  • Drive standardization and improvement within business units in order to continuously improve HR service delivery and promote principles of driving work to the appropriate level (including self-services) in the evolving HR organization
  • Lead, identify and mitigate the HR Risk environment, manage escalations and support the business to create a positive employee environment.
  • Be the champion and lead the way in implementing the Customer Experience Model
  • Support the local deployment of Switzerland wide HR projects and initiatives

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree (HR, Finance or Business) or equivalent experience
  • 2-3 years min. as an HR Generalist, Operations or Shared Services experience in a multi-national organisation
  • Good knowledge of Swiss Labour Law
  • Fluent spoken and written French and English
  • Experience with Workday, ServiceNow or other HR systems, an asset
