We excited to announce that for our Consumables Industrialization team within Engineering Solution, we are looking for a Industrialization Manager - Product / Consumables, based in Neuchatel, Switzerland.

Within this role you will

Lead complex, multi-year Product Industrialization projects & programs according to Project Management methodologies and company stage-gate process, meeting Schedule, Cost, Performance and Quality Requirements. You will also manage a smooth, agile and waste-free execution of all industrialization activities process definition, equipment qualification, documentation/records creation and vertical start-up of the manufacturing process

YOUR ‘DAY TO DAY’
  • Drive operational excellence of project execution, define and assure application of appropriate Project Management methodologies, tools and skills, in line with the latest standards and ensure appropriate professional development for himself and project team members. Collaborate with relevant departments to promote and reinforce technical and management expertise for industrialization process
  • Ensure a feasible overall planning, tracking and correction for all the project activities, by balancing people’s availability, capabilities, work packages’ assignments and workload
  • Check with a systematic and robust approach the progress of specific (pre-defined) deadlines for all the industrialization process. Verify and react to planning challenges, by supporting Team members and/or by coordinating with the line managers involved. Ensures appropriate countermeasures in case of critical events
  • Define contents, format, layout, distribution and archiving policies for all the managed processes and related data and information. Guarantee that all the released and published information and data are correct and up-to-dated
  • Lead and develop a team of industrialization-oriented resources, both from a project organization and operational point of view. Defines the industrialization team’s composition, according to the work packages and skills required. Ensures continuous development of project team members by providing specific feedback and coaching, as well inputs to their development plans
  • Ensure the structure of the industrialization project team evolves in response to the evolving business needs, in terms of industrialization process, product design, production system, capability needs and quality requirements
  • Act as a role model in compliance management by carrying out all the accountabilities in a legal and ethical manner and in line with PMI compliance

Essential Requirements
  • Highly skilled and experienced in leading complex projects, from development to industrialization and scale-up
  • Solid knowledge and experience in engineering processes and methods, preferably in the fields of new product development and product launches
  • Experience in building and leading technical teams in a project setting, with ability to understand the product and process fundamental requirements, and the associated quality control requirements
  • Ability to translate technical knowledge and know-how into efficient project delivery
  • Quick learner with a pragmatic, analytical and autonomous mindset
  • Strong strategic thinking and organizational capabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deal with ambiguity and complexity

Preferred Requirements
  • Experience in managing direct and interact teams in a consumer-centric organization
  • More than 5 years of experience in related area and management experience
  • Evidence of continuous professional development in the areas of program and project management

Qualifications & Education
  • University degree in Engineering, Science or similar fields, advanced degrees are preferable
