Job Description

The position is based in the European Headquarters, reporting to the manager FP&A.
  • Work with Business units and Regions to build their annual OPEX budgets and forecasts.
  • Support manager FP&A and Business partners/ Brand leads on P&L management and brand
investments.
  • Provide in-depth variance analysis, trend analysis and benchmark analysis to business leaders
and ensure understanding of business financial performance within management and

commercial teams.
  • Preparing business cases to support new investment, strategic and other business decisions.
  • Responsible for creation of monthly management reports.
  • Manage accounting allocations between departments.
  • Review and investigate accounting transactions and monthly accruals to improve data accuracy.
  • Drive efficiencies through continuous review and improvement of existing processes and reports.
  • Other ad hoc projects within the Finance team.

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics or a related field.
  • 6+ years of Finance-related experience, Pharma/Life Science/Biotech experience is preferred.
  • Significant analytical skillset, including the utilization of BI and reporting tools. Hyperion
Experience is a preference
  • Advanced computer software skills, including writing macros in excel.
  • Content driven, able to prioritize multiple demands and lead defined work to successful
conclusion on time.
  • Strong quantitative abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to build relationships.
  • Strong influencing and interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter, able to work independently and to solve complex problems
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
