Data Architect

Congo Brands is a US based high-growth company that manages several rapidly growing brands within the beverage sector, initiated and led by high profile individuals within social media. The local office in Zug was established in 2023 as we expand into Europe and other regions, beginning with the PRIME hydration range.

Do you excel at consolidating and analysing data from multiple sources and troubleshooting discrepancies? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

We are looking for a Data Architect to join our team. As a key member of the finance team, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining a robust data model to consolidate multiple inventory reports and strengthening inventory controls. Your expertise in creating and managing databases will contribute to informed decision-making and drive efficiency throughout the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and build a database to consolidate and reconcile data from various third-party manufacturers to ensure accurate inventory valuation and reporting.
  • Utilize advanced data management skills to cleanse, aggregate and create a robust database update process.
  • Reconcile inventory reports with ERP system records and investigate discrepancies.
  • Contribute to developing analytical and reporting inventory-related metrics, trends, and variances.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams, including procurement, finance, IT and 3rd party suppliers, to gather relevant data and troubleshoot issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Data Science or similar.
  • 3-4 years of experience in with database design, creation, management, and data cleansing.
  • Solid knowledge of database management and visualization tools.
  • Curiosity and interest in understanding business processes and how they impact the database.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy when it comes to data management.
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders both on-site and remote.
  • Independence and ability to drive projects towards completion.
