LIMS System Administrator and Project Manager

This role acts as the operational system owner on behalf of the business for the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) for the Business Unit. Its primary objective is to transform the LIMS from a MVP into a full-fledged backbone system for Quality Control Operations, roll-out to other sites beyond the business unit and coordinate the local superusers. Furthermore, the role acts as the administrating superuser for the site of Visp

Essential Job Functions:
  • Oversight and management the Laboratory Management Information System (LIMS)
  • Management of System Life-Cycle
  • Set up and maintain quality system relevant documentation for LIMS
  • Organize the Master Data of LIMS
  • Establish, organize and facilitate the Key-User forums for LIMS globally
  • Train Key-Users and manage training material for LIMS
  • Coordinate LIMS improvements and issues between local users and other parties (Solution providers)
  • Project Lead in roll-out activities towards non-NCE-sites
  • Develop and establish a business intelligence system for LIMS
  • Support and collaboration in projects and other Quality tasks and initiatives
  • Deputizes Head of Quality and Regulatory NCE in Quality Systems aspects and LIMS governance

Qualifications & Experience:
  • MSc in a Science or Technology field
  • Business Fluent in German and English
  • PMP Certification
  • 5+ years of experience in Quality Management and Information Management Systems (DMS, LIMS, etc.)
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Ability to create a framework for Quality System integrated LIMS and to communicate effectively
