Job Description

This position will be responsible for assessing the viability of and planning for potential launch products across the European, Canadian, and European Partner Markets (ECP). They will be responsible for new product strategy activities including but not limited to aggregating recommendations for pivotal trial design, developing the business case for pipeline or externally targeted molecules, facilitating cross-functional considerations, and recommending the initial go to market model. This position will also be responsible for ensuring proper cross-functional governance of key decisions relating to product launch. For nearer-term launches, they will develop and lead the cross-functional team in Launch Operations, track, and manager commercialization-related issues, and lead the team in identifying risks and developing mitigation strategies and contingency plans. They will contribute to the continuous improvement of the launch excellence process based on lessons learned and best practices. Finally, a portion of their time will be to manage specific commercialization projects required for launch.

What You’ll Do
  • Develop and continuously update ECP new product strategic plan and facilitate the ECP Leadership in that governance
  • Facilitate cross-functional teams in the assessment of and planning for new product launches, working with Global and Local teams to ensure necessary information and material sharing. This may include managing projects with external vendors.
  • Manage specific commercialization projects required for launch
Qualifications
  • Bachelors in life sciences or business administration
  • >7 years in life biotech/pharma
  • Product launch and/or biopharma business development projects
  • Work in a primary function (marketing, sales, value & access, or medical) preferred
  • Plus, if prior experience in consulting
  • Strong analytical (e.g., market research, forecasting, market analysis, customer segmentation) and problem-solving ability
  • Strategic agility and innovative thinking
  • Able to quickly master disease and product knowledge with a foundation in science and clinical practice
  • Self-starter who seizes accountability
  • Strong in working in teams
  • Written and verbal communication skills, fluent in English
