Process Manufacturing Engineer

  • About Our Client

    Our client is an innovative and fast growing company developing medical devices.

    Job Description
    • To interpret critical to quality micro array parameters and ensure that these are incorporated into the manufacturing system design.
    • To utilise statistical techniques to develop a manufacturing process control system to assure high quality while maintaining the required production volumes.
    • To work closely with Quality and Regulatory Affairs personnel to create an appropriate validation plan in and to assist with generation of data required for regulatory submissions.
    • To establish and maintain the required documentation (e.g. IQ/OQ/PQ, Process Maps, FMEAs, WI) in assigned scope of process.
    • To drive projects with established CAPEX and scope in relation with technology improvement, process industrialisation, increase robustness and seamless execution
    • To investigate product and process related Non-Conformances or Customer complaints and act on established CAPA as required
    • To increase the manufacturing capacity and performance of the production line
    • Attend internal/external meetings and courses as appropriate and disseminate information to the development project teams and manufacturing teams.
    • Perform any other duties as reasonably requested from the Company from time to time.
    • Conduct all duties in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Good Documentation Practice (GDP) and appropriate regulatory requirements.

    The Successful Applicant
    • Holds an EPF/HES Engineering degree in Micro Engineering, Electronics, Sciences or equivalent degree
    • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing environment, regulated type of industry
    • Experience in process automation
    • Exposure to Compliance Regulations (GMPs, audits)
    • Interested in biologics / liquid handling systems
    • Experience in IVD manufacturing processes is a plus
    • Experience in the use of statistical packages is a plus
    • 6 Sigma/ Green Belt is advantageous
    • Practical knowledge and expertise with core IT packages such as MS Office
    • Must be able to communicate in a clear and concise manner
    • Fluent in French and English
