Pictet Alternative Advisors (PAA) is a leading alternative investment group and a wholly owned subsidiary of Pictet with expertise in, private equity, hedge funds and real estate. With teams based globally they construct, manage and advise on portfolios of alternative investment solutions for institutional and private clients.

Pictet has high growth ambitions for Pictet Alternative Advisors for the coming years, notably to expand its product offering to include additional asset classes and to further develop its institution-al client base.

In this context of strong growth, PAA is seeking to hire a mid-level seniority analyst to join the Quantitative Investment Solution (QIS) team based in Geneva. The QIS team builds analytics and investment processes to support investment decision making with objectivity, creativity and innovation. The team is transversal and operates across alternative asset classes private and public, with activities in quantitative research and portfolio construction.

Your role


  • Researching, designing and implementing new private assets analytics.
  • Contributing to a broad analytical environment covering private assets and hedge funds.
  • Critically assessing and strengthening existing analytics.

Your profile


  • Master’s degree in Science and or Finance (mathematics, engineering, economy). A postgraduate-type qualification such as a CAIA or CFA would be an asset.
  • Solid knowledge of private assets, with 3-7 years’ experiences in the industry.
  • Excellent command of Python.
  • Team player and comfortable working as part of a transversal team.
  • Proactive with a good sense of initiative.
  • Fluent English, conversation level in French is a plus.
  • Resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate.
