We are currently looking for a R&D Project Manager for Active implant technology in a permanent role to be based in Switzerland . In this role you will be joining our client’s R&D team, reporting directly to the VP R&D, and you will be responsible for leading the product development and the infrastructure involved for one or more product categories.

Responsibilities:

• Manage assigned projects, balance corporate priorities, and ensure team alignment across functional areas to ensure that project deadlines and goals are met.
• Manage the product development process utilizing an iterative agile project management framework.
• Independently oversee a portfolio of projects and ensure that project and divisional goals are aligned.
• Develop, communicate, and track project plans, objectives, budgets, scope, timelines, and projected end dates. Translate project goals into project tasks.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify issues that may cause project delays or cost overruns and develop contingency plans to mitigate the impact. Compile risk profiles associated with scope creep and changing project requirements.
• Maintain team morale and engagement by ensuring constant and transparent communication.
• Compile technical justifications and data summaries in support of product claims.
• Lead process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Relevant Swiss working/residency permit or Swiss/EU-Citizenship required;
• Relevant University Degree such as PhD, Medical, Engineering
• Experience from a similar position from R&D, Clinical Development in a medical device company
• Strong Project management expertise
• Experience with implants and software’s
• Experience from a similar position from Clinical Development in a medical device company
• Good understanding of product development related processes and SOPs
• Good understanding of applicable medical device regulations and standards
• Knowledge of medical device requirements, design control, and risk assessments is highly preferred
• Creativity, Problem-solving abilities
