About Our Client

Our client is a well-known manufacturer of separation and mixing equipment and technology and are mainly delivering into the Fine Chemicals industry. As they are investing in their R&D capabilities, we`re looking to recruit an experienced R&D Engineer (Research & Development) to be based in the surrounding of Basel and to be involved in projects both internally and externally. Tasks
  • Plan and execute customer tests based on their specifications
  • Execute internal test projects to develop and optimize process technologies
  • Be closely involved in the development of test units in the test center when it comes to modifications and improvements
  • Participate in the implementation of measures regarding safety, environment and waste treatment (which is closely linked to their sustainability strategy)
  • Steadily develop yourself by upgrading and fostering your specific R&D know-how
  • Participate in project meetings with the customers to support the Project Manager regarding R&D topics
Profile
  • Technical education and/or studies in Engineering, preferably within Process or Chemical Engineering (e.g. as Process Engineer, Chemical Engineer or similar)
  • At least three years of experience in one or more of the following separation technologies: evaporation, extraction, distillation or crystallization
  • Hands-on, problem-solving attitude combined with very good communication skills
  • You work independently and think in a structured way
  • Fluency in English and German is required, other languages such as French or Italian are highly benefitial
