Mikron Machiningis the leading supplier of customized, highly productive machining systems for the manufacturing of complex high-precision components made of metal.

We are expanding our team! We are currently looking for a SAP ABAP Developerto join our Global IT department based in Agno, Switzerland.

Your main tasks:

  • Analyze problems and propose solutions to develop and enhance SAP processes
  • Satisfy business requirements by performing SAP programs controls, in accordance with the approved specifications
  • Lead assigned projects, according to architectural standards, established methodologies and IT practices
  • Prepare preliminary and final specification for the project/change implementation
  • Maintain and configure SAP ABAP Software
  • Document the performed changes and train the users to ensure the proper execution
  • Support to Mikron SAP users
  • Produce technical specification for external partners programmers
  • Business trips

Your profile:

  • 3+ years of ABAP programming experience, in particular: creating ALV reports, function module, batch input, IDOC, interface between SAP and external software
  • Experience with software unit and integration testing
  • Solid understanding of SAP data dictionary. SAP’s customizing skills are advantageous but not essential
  • Fluent Italian and good English. French or German are also very appreciated but not mandatory
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Problem solving and conceptual skills
  • Ability to work in different cultural environments
  • Promote IT staff cooperation and team working
  • Manage multiple projects effectively and work to tight deadlines
