Job purpose-

• Provide leadership and guidance to the S& EM Quality team for the assigned Supplier and External Manufacturer Portfolio
• Ensure quality management oversight of the assigned Supplier and External Manufacturer portfolio for Self c are products
• Supervise, support, and develop team members.
  
  

Essential duties and responsibilities-

• Ensure the compliant & reliable supply from External Manufacturers (EM) and Direct materials (DM) Suppliers
• Ensure the assigned EM and DM portfolio comply with Health Authority regulations and Kenvue Standards
• Carry out approval process of new EMs and DMS according to current GMP and Kenvue Standards
• Assure adequate support for new EM and DMS onboarding
• Ensure that EMs and DMS are operating in a manner that is compliant with the relevant regulation and following quality agreement
• Manages quality issues (i.e. field actions, quality holds, micro biological failures, rejects, SEN etc.)
• Accountable for proactively identifying quality and compliance gaps and ensures continuous improvement process of the External Manufacturer and Supplier quality systems
• Establishes and maintains KPIs relevant for EM and DMS performance
• Works in partnership with business partners, e.g. Procurement, External Operations, RD, GP, MS&T, Regulatory and other relevant stakeholders
• Reviews and approves EM and DMS life cycle management records as per applicable procedures
• Ensure execution and follow-up of all GMP Quality Audits for the assigned EM and DMS portfolio (routine, for cause etc.) and associated follow-up
• Accountable for the correct budget planning and funding for the assigned projects
• Coordinate department resources and activities to enable effective operations
• Coordinate and Lead inspection preparation activities, where required
• Work on initiatives to improve Quality system of EM quality management
• Support and lead different quality projects, as required
• Provides coaching and appropriate training to the team members
• Manages the team- recruitment, objective set-up, follow-up and appraisal, support development plans
• Other tasks assigned by line manager
• E xperience with pharma CMO management, pharmaceutical manufacturing, GMP
• Deep technical knowledge and expertise in at least one pharmaceutical category
• Fluent English and preferably a second language
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in people management
• Good business acumen
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Digitally fluent

Job Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of the European GMP guidelines for pharmaceutical products, good understanding of GMP requirements for other regions (US, APAC...), knowledge of ISO 13485 and / or sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing is advantage
