Senior PL1 Developer (with .NET)

Cognizant is looking for a combination PL1 and .NET Developer to join our inclusive and collaborative team. This full-time Senior Developer role is based in Zürich and offers an attractive salary and benefits package.


In this PL1 and .Net developer role, you will be working with colleagues from all around the world to create solutions for the world’s leading companies and help them become more, innovative, and successful.


In your first few weeks in this role, you can expect to Identify and fix issues independently. Be a senior with multiple years of experience and a high complexity rating. Collaborate to create solutions for the world’s leading companies and help them become more flexible, innovative, and successful.


To apply for this Senior PL1 and .Net developer role, you should have 10-14 years relevant experience must be good at identifying issues independently and fixing them. You will also require the following skillset:

  • IBM Mainframe and PL1
  • DB2 (CRUD)& IAS Accelerator
  • MQ-Series & CICS Transaction Monitor (Set up CICS trx, find and check LOG Queues if needed)
  • JCL – batch processing
  • SORT utilities
  • Willingness to work with and learning .NET
  • Willingness to work in a hands-on role
