Who are we?

NOUMENA DIGITAL AG is a scale-up of around 50 people based in Baar, Zug, Switzerland. We have been operating for more than five years, and have large-scale enterprise systems in production for more than three years.

We operate in the energy, real estate, logistics, and financial sectors, with a definite bias towards projects that have a regard for the environment and are ecologically sound e.g., renewable energy generation and storage, vehicle charging, emissions tracking, real estate energy management, financial applications for green energy transition, asset tokenization to name some of the areas we are active in.

We have developed our own proprietary language, which we have used to successfully build an increasing number of enterprise-grade applications. This language has several unique features that allow us to modelmulti-party relationships and implement multi-partybusiness logic in the same piece of code, making it clearwho is allowed to do what and under which conditions. There is no need for the person implementing the business logic to be concerned aboutauthorization and persistence,as the declarations in the code and the runtime integrate this seamlessly with the necessary IAM systems and databases.

Who are you?

We are looking for colleagues with experience in many disciplines:

  • Language and compiler design
  • Distributed systems design
  • Experience building viable applications on top of and with blockchains
  • Infrastructure design and development
  • Frontend development, for this role senior+ only please
  • Business application design and development in any of the business areas mentioned above

We place no restrictions on programming language experience or other technical background. We just expect you to know what you are talking about and that you are at the level you claim to be - whether recent graduate or industry-leading.
