Your tasks

  • Responsible for the operative order processing for material and services
  • Responsible for monitoring the order and delivery processes of all suppliers and initiating corrective measures, if necessary
  • Obtaining information of premium suppliers and current contracts to support the strategic procurement objectives
  • Actively manage suppliers
  • Independently collaborate with internal and external cross-departmental partners
  • Taking an active part in the automatization of the processes for which you are responsible using best in class methodology

Your profile

  • Basic degree in technology or economy
  • Technical degree in applied sciences (HF), Swiss federal degree as merchant or purchasing expert.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in machining, preferably in an international and multicultural environment
  • Excellent knowledge of SAP R/3 Module MM/PP as well as MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point), SAP Ariba and DCC (from GIB) would be an advantage
  • Excellent negotiating skills, resilient, and flexible
  • Analytical and goal-oriented thinking, setting the right priorities
  • Proficient in German and English, further languages would be an advantage
