QC & Analytical Development Chemist in Sorbent Industrialization (f/m/d, 100%)

You develop and validate analytical testing methodologies for new and/or existing sorbent materials and contribute to their transfer to the commercial partners.
You prepare technical specifications and SOPs.
You carry out testing campaigns to characterize sorbent materials to improve the understanding of material-process relationships in the direct air capture process.
You assist in the processing of out-of-specifications, and investigation and deviation reports.
You contribute to continuous process improvement to ensure the quality standards of our sorbent technology.

You have completed a Master’s degree in a scientific field (preferably chemistry, or similar).

You bring practical experience in using various analytical methods for the characterization of materials (especially gas physisorption, Hg porosimetry, breakthrough analysis, GC/MS).
You have professional experience in a research laboratory.
You have a structured and accurate, independent way of working, and a high degree of quality awareness.
You can communicate efficiently with internal and external stakeholders.
You take ownership and thrive working in a fast paced and challenging environment with ambitious goals in an industrial setting.
You are fluent in English and any German knowledge is a plus.
