Hobson Prior are looking for a QC Microbiology Scientist to join a fantastic pharmaceutical CMO on a permanent basis, located in Switzerland. Our Client is focused on manufacturing solutions for pharma drug products that meet previously unmet needs of patients and markets.Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.Key Responsibilities
  • In this position you will be responsible for supporting the establishment of QC Microbiology.
  • Assist with microbiological and biochemical analyses.
  • Prepare SOPs, qualification documents, and method validations for lab work on a daily basis.
  • In charge of commissioning, qualifying, maintaining and operating equipment.
  • Additionally, you are responsible for GMP-compliant analysis execution and documentation.
  • Ensure the laboratory is supplied with the necessary materials.
  • It is your responsibility to process variances and change requests.
  • Contribute to the ongoing optimization and development of procedures, working methods and processes by supporting the entire QC team.

Requirements
  • You should have a degree in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, or a related field.
  • Experience in QC and GMP-regulated environments is ideal.
  • Communicate effectively and confidently in German and have excellent written and spoken English skills.
