Regional Application Marketing Automotive EMEA

To support the strategy of our Sales organization in EMEA, we are looking for a Regional Application Marketing Manager Automotive EMEA. In this role you will be accountable for the regional growth strategy within the market segment Automotive in collaboration with the regional Sales organization and the Head of Global Application Marketing. Your key objective is to maximize the revenue and the margin of the company in your dedicated region by offering and positioning solutions over multiple product areas and driving a strong design-in funnel growth.
As part of our matrix organization, you will partner closely not only with the sales team but also with our Product Centers (Product Strategy and R&D) to ensure a close internal alignment about our sales and growth strategy in your market segment. In this respect your excellent interpersonal skills will help you to succeed.

This position reports to the Head of Sales EMEA.
The position can be located in Switzerland, Germany or one of our operating countries in EMEA. and requires regular regional travel.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Define growth market areas and related focus customers in your dedicated segment and region
• Contribute to achieving growth target of regional sales by:
  • defining along with your management the regional growth strategy and aligning the related market segment budget target
  • Implementing the agreed strategy by reaching the budget target in your segment
  • Drive a strong design in funnel for your segments
• Establish direct contact and relationships to key customers Automotive, Tier1 and OEM for solutions-based promotions and seek feedback on products and (future) customer requirements
• Drive the customer feedback into the product roadmaps in close alignment with the Global Head of Application Marketing
• Provide competition analysis for your market segment in your region
• Establish thought leadership in EMEA by positioning and articulating the value proposition of multiple u-blox products in an application

Your Skills and Experience

• Proven business/sales marketing experience in Automotive with EMEA responsibility, with direct contact and relationships to key customers, Tier1 or OEM in Europe
• Proven track record in driving new business ideas and roadmaps and in winning Automotive customers
• Excellent understanding of hardware and software products as well as of IoT and solution services
• You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to find your way and to perform in a matrix environment
• You are a problem solver and strive for quality while achieving results
• You know how to establish yourself as a thought leader and are not afraid of going innovative and experimental ways
• Proficient English communication skills. Other languages like German are an asset
• Valid work permit
