Are you ready for the challenge?YOUR JOB TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:You understand the broadest definition of value to include not only savings but also supply security, risk mitigation, innovation as well as cashflow improvement. You will help get the maximum return from our investment in media, creative, insights, ecommerce and sales. The team will bring value to the business, not only by generating savings and improving payment terms, but also by driving innovation. You’ll ensure our suppliers deliver to our sustainability and diversity, equity and inclusion goalsWe need to get the very best results from our suppliers and this requires a true partnership approach – with them, as well as the Leadership Teams in Europe South : France, Switzerland, Italy cluster, Iberia. The content, cadence and representation at each touchpoint is key to this and will develop under your mentorshipYou’ll have lot of support. You’ll work with expert professionals with great business sense and strong experience in category and supplier management. You will build strong relationships with senior leaders in marketing, sales and finance across the regionWHO YOU ARE:Your success will be driven by your demonstration of our LIFE values. More specifically related to this position, Bayer seeks and incumbent who possesses the following:
  • Master or equivalent degree in science, engineering or business management
  • Proven experience in Procurement ideally as business partner, at least 5 years with proven understanding of Procurement sourcing in marketing creative & media or relevant business background and expertise
  • Strong analytical capabilities to drive data use for decision making
  • Proven Strategic thinking to be able to navigate in a complex environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work in multi-cultural environments, with strong influencing and engagement skills
  • Fluent in English is a must. Additional languages are advantageous (e.g. Spanish, Italian, French)
