Innovative Food Supplement Ingredients for International Markets

Our client is a successful corporate group and a major player of the Personal Care industry with a growing portfolio of international activities. A Swiss manufacturer of innovative and bioactive ingredients for the nutraceutical and cosmetic industry, our client is also a leading supplier of premium ingredients in the food, beverage, and dietary supplement industry. The portfolio targets various key aspects of the aging process and supports the “beauty from within” trend.

Our innovative team for new Food Supplement developments seeks reinforcement with an RA expert. The incumbent shall competently support new product developments and the increasing inquiries of international customer. The main target regions are the EU and the rapidly growing US market. The Food Supplements team, set up over the past four years, has already launched five products worldwide during this time.

Your Role

  • Regulatory Affairs Expert in the Food Supplement Team
  • Ensuring compliance with food law regulations in international markets, especially EU, USA and Asian markets
  • Creation and review of product declarations, MSDS, TDS and other documents
  • Organisation and interpretation of laboratory analyses (residue analysis, mycotoxins, etc.)
  • Processing of specific regulatory projects (novel food, GRAS, safety studies, etc.)
  • Correspondence with customers, suppliers, external laboratories, and authorities
  • Support of international customers with regulatory issues and local registrations
  • Participation in the internal HACCP team and support with external and internal audits
Your Profile

  • Completed degree in Food Science, Food Technology or a Life Science discipline
  • > 3 years of professional experience in regulatory affairs for Food Supplements
  • Regulatory knowledge in the field of plant extracts / botanicals
  • Experience with novel food and GRAS issues and respective regulations
  • Very good written and spoken English, German is an asset
You have a precise, efficient, and independent way of working. You have strong analytical skills and can interpret and synthesise analytical lab data.
