At Stonehage Fleming, we are looking for an impressive, experienced and dynamic individual with a flair for building; maintaining and developing successful client relationships to join our Geneva based Family Office (Relationship Management) team. We would like to hire someone who can not only support the fantastic team we already have in place, but also go on to advise our clients regarding the Stonehage Fleming Group Offerings we have available, manage client affairs in conjunction with our internal and external partners and importantly, provide consistent expert high-level day to day administration.

The successful incumbent will be educated to degree level (minimum) and ideally possess circa 3-5 years industry experience. Possession of a chartered accountancy or legal qualification will be advantageous, as well as holding or showing a willingness to work towards obtaining an Industry specific STEP qualification. Technical and practical knowledge and understanding of Family Office Services, highly beneficial.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain long term relationships with clients which includes all forms of contact/communication with clients and their advisers
  • Advise clients on all Stonehage Fleming Group offerings, e.g. family office services, offshore corporate and trust structuring, tax and estate planning, investment management etc.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal departments/business divisions of the Group to effectively manage the clients’ affairs, including compliance, legal, trust, accounting, investments, treasury & banking, philanthropy and property
  • Support the business development/marketing efforts of the Group
  • Consult with third party professionals such as lawyers, tax specialists and asset managers, and obtain their opinions pertaining to the management of the clients’ affairs
  • Ensure all transactions pertaining to the management of the clients’ affairs are executed timely, efficiently and accounted for correctly
  • Provide full administrative support to FOCSS on allocated clients, including but not limited to the preparation of banking, investment, formation and termination forms, internal and external reports, instructing payments, monitor debtors, periodic risk review and obtain compliance when necessary
  • Assist Managers/Directors in preparation of expert reporting packs for client meetings, which require a thorough knowledge of the client and excellent financial analytical skills
  • Assist and support the FO team on day-to-day operational running of large clients of the Group
  • Such other duties as the management may from time to time reasonably require, including those relating to internal business operational responsibilities

Skills
  • Technical or practical knowledge of Family Office services – a plus
  • Multi-horizon experience / international background – a plus
  • Pro-activity and ability to work independently with little guidance
  • Good Microsoft Office skills
