Hobson Prior are currently looking for a Research Scientist to join a brilliant pharmaceutical corporation on a contract basis. Our client is focused on developing ground-breaking remedies that to treat unmet medical requirements.Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.Key Responsibilities
  • For this position, you will collaborate with various teams across numerous expertise groups in the international oncology organisation which involves Drug Discovery Biology, Cellular Assays, Enzymology and Biochemistry, Pharmacology, etc.
  • Conduct in vitro experiments in line with the rest of the team independently.
  • Responsible for comprehending and reporting data.
  • Offer troubleshooting and follow-up hypothesis for experiment design.
  • Effectively work in a functional lab, which involves adapting quicky to technical equipment and instrument’s software and tools.
  • Partake in the lab management.
  • Any other assigned duties.

  • Communication skills both verbally and in writing.
Requirements
  • Educated to a degree level in a cellular biology, molecular biology or similar field or obtained a qualification as a lab technician such as an apprenticeship.
  • Relevant work experience in biomedical research with familiarity in cell culture and implementation of a variety of both cellular and molecule biological strategies.
  • Expertise on cancer signalling/biology would be advantageous.
  • Fluency in the English language.
