Job Overview

RBI is the global owner of four amazing brands – Burger King, Popeyes, Tim Hortons and Firehouse Subs. This position is responsible for the Restaurant Standards & Processes that are used in all RBI International restaurants – across all four brands. This includes designing innovative and creative ways to improve our operations. This could be via simplifying team member activities, integrating our guests experience with operations, and/or creating standards to impact the restaurant safety and experience. The work is very cross functional because any change to the restaurant process proposed by any department will involve discussion with this role. The person in this role will define the standards and processes, but also design the plans to take the process from theoretical all the way to wide adoption. This position sits within the International Ops structure, which is responsible for strategic Ops projects for all RBI brands internationally. This position reports directly to the Vice President, Operations, International and will be responsible for managing a team of brand operational specialists to accomplish their goals.

Your Responsibilities

  • Be the international expert related to in-restaurant processes
  • Own priority projects specific to operational processes internationally
  • Support regional teams on initial priority project execution
  • Develop new, innovative, and helpful restaurant procedures
  • Create compelling materials for communicating and convincing others of project value
  • Project plan cross-functionally and cross-regionally to ensure plans are robust enough to be properly completed internationally
  • Work closely with brand marketing teams to complete brand level priorities
  • Engage with Operations Standards team to ensure new processes are encoded into official documentation and ensure that new processes will abide by brand standards
  • Review training materials developed on new and existing processes
  • Continuously improve processes for more efficiency, consistency, improved guest experience and profitability

Your Qualifications & Skills

  • At least a Bachelor’s degree, ideally in business or economics
  • 5+ years’ experience as QSR Manager
  • 5+ years in an operational role with regional/global scale in Quick Service Restaurant industry
  • Strong restaurant business and financial acumen
  • Solid problem-solving skills and analytical capabilities
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office stack
  • Fluent English is required
