At Flybotix we do professional inspection drone solutions for confined spaces. We are an exciting young, dynamic and fast growing start-up. We are based near Lausanne (1020 Renens, Switzerland).

We are looking for a Passionate, Driven and Creativeindividual that will add new human and technical competencies to our team, to satisfy customer needs with great high-tech products!

Responsibilities

As Robotics & Autonomy Engineer, you will lead the development of our drone autonomy stack. In collaboration with the rest of the R&D team, you will drive the design, implementation, testing and integration of navigation sensors and algorithms.

Qualifications

  • Master degree in Robotics (or related field) with experience in the industry, or PhD degree in Robotics (or related field)
  • Successful track record in Flying Robotics (previous projects / employment)
  • Strong knowledge in State Estimation, Flight Control, Autonomous Navigation, Computer Vision, VIO & SLAM
  • Proficiency in C++ and Python
  • Experience with PX4, ROS, MAVLink
  • Experience in building and piloting drones
  • Team player and good communicator (English, French is a plus)
  • Experience in conducting product development is a plus
