Serpentine Ventures (SERV), the investment arm of the Swiss Startup Group, is looking for an individual to help to develop and lead the Clients department of SERV covering sales and distribution activities.

SERV was founded by experienced entrepreneurs and financial services professionals and works with exceptional entrepreneurial talent to build and invest in new technology companies. SERV wants to build a dedicated sales team that expands its capabilities by selectively recruiting and adding distinctive fundraising talents.

Our ideal candidate is a critical thinker and has strong social skills. He/she needs to have a basic understanding of investment management, financial markets and venture capital.

Tasks
  • Support in raising net new assets across the full venture capital fund range of Serpentine Ventures
  • Development of a professional sales process
  • Establish and maintain detailed competitive and customer analysis
  • Maintain CRM system and ensure the quality of data
  • Research on prospective customer segments
  • Close collaboration with the investment team and other internal stakeholders
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Econometrics or equivalent
  • Basic understanding of investment management and financial market products and services with pronounced commercial instincts
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to execute tasks independently and out of own initiative
  • Passion for venture and investment business
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Can-do attitude with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
