The primary objective of the Senior Sales Specialist is to promote our Cloud and Network solutions and service to our installed and new customer base, to drive our expansion and growth in the Switzerland German speaking market.

Job responsibilities

  • You feel comfortable in understanding customer challenges and mapping solutions and services to it, to help customers achieving their business outcomes.
  • You feel comfortable in talking to different stakeholders with different levels of technical expertise.
  • Demonstrate NTT capability and experience in the relevant practice area or service area – resulting in the expansion of existing client accounts.
  • Excellent level of industry knowledge, combined with commercial acumen, business strategy skills, and knowledge of Cloud and Network sourcing models and market trends as well as in-depth understanding of the client’s business.
  • This role is expected to generate demand by assisting clients to identify and qualify current needs. They effectively articulate how NTT can add value through its products and services solutions offerings.
  • You are responsible for selling complex technical solutions and/or services.
  • You feel comfortable in managing and coordinating the sales and technical team tasks in support of the sale of NTT solutions.
  • You may also be called on as a technical product expert to develop and present sales proposals and systems solutions, and close complex technical sales.
  • Primary focus of this position is selling the company’s products/services; this role is not intended to be an engineering position, but more a high-level Solutions Architect role with commercial and lead generation skills

What will make you a good fit for the role?

Your profile

  • Degree in Computer Science, Economy or related field
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a solution selling environment.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in positioning/selling Hybrid/Multi-Cloud solutions as well as Network Infrastructures, LAN, WAN, Network Optimisation, Application Delivery, Data Centre, Wireless, Security, with a Systems Integrator or Hyperscaler;
  • Vendors Certification in Sales and/or Design is a plus
  • Ability to listen, analyse, persuade, and influence Technical and Management stakeholders to move to the Cloud transformation journey and Modernize the Network Infrastructure
  • Use professional concepts and company objectives to solve complex issues in creative ways
  • Network with others outside own area of expertise (Sourcing, Security, SD-WAN, Modern Workspace)
  • Exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to obtain results
  • Have a proactive approach to detect and understand customers’ needs
  • Ability to define a methodology and strategy to generate new business (cross-sell, upsell, and lead generation)
  • Strong understanding of the Swiss ICT landscape and customer business environment to identify opportunities
  • Service oriented and customer satisfaction focused
  • Ability to cope in a fast-changing environment and think innovatively
  • Must be self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as Strong team player
  • Resilient and flexible
  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to articulate clearly and effectively NTT’s business value
  • Full professional proficiency in German and English, Swiss German is a plus
