For IbexTM Solutions, our recently launched unique biological manufacturing and development concept in Visp, Switzerland, we have multiple openings. We are looking for a Scientist (m/f/d) in our Pilot Downstream team at the Visp site. In this role, you will work hands-on in our state-of-the art laboratories together with an international, cross-functional team with the goal of transferring scalable purification processes for the manufacture of novel biotherapeutics.

Key responsibilities:

  • List key responsibilities here.

  • Organize, execute, and document experimental lab work according to defined expectations, working instructions, and schedule

  • Generate, collect, and analyze data in collaboration with individual scientists and lab technicians

  • Prepare reports and presentations

  • Actively participate in the establishment of working instructions

  • Represent the team in group and project meetings

Key requirements:

  • MSc./PhD. in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related disciplines

  • Some years of industry experience in the field of purification of monoclonal antibodies preferred

  • Broad biotechnology expertise and/or knowledge in the area of protein purification; GMP understanding is an addition

  • Structured, focused, and well-organized working attitude, open-minded for new ideas and suggestions, high motivation and dynamic drive

  • Very good communication skills

  • Fluent in English and (optionally) basic German is required
