The ideal candidate has a background in applied spectroscopy in combination with data analytics and perceives this role as an opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge to improve an existing industrial implementation in a highly interdisciplinary setting, directly adding value to the companies’ patients.

Responsibilities
  • Work with cross-functional teams to provide deeper understanding of properties/process/product performance relationships of PAT implementations. This will involve analysis of spectroscopic data, as well as understanding of hardware performance and influencing factors.
  • Apply multivariate data/statistical analysis for method development, investigation/troubleshooting, and product quality control strategy
  • Evaluate new process analytical hard- and software.
  • Support development of new in-line, on-line, and at-line analytical methods
  • Plan, organize and execute experimental work in lab and plant to support these goals.
  • Document knowledge and develops best practice documentation as related to project results

  • Experience in process analytics, PAT, analytical development, or device development, ideally in a GxP setting, will help to get started.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to solve problems in a self-guided manner are key, as this position will require to address non-routine challenges effectively across disciplines involving chemists, biotechnologists, molecular biologists, chemical engineers, mechanical engineers and IT specialists.
Education
  • PhD in Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, Biotechnology, Material Sciences, or related field.
  • S. or M.S. in above disciplines with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
