We’re looking for an experienced Scrum Master

  • With your strong Agile and technical skills, you’ll be working closely with developers and business experts on IT projects to coach the team to become high performing

What you’ll do

As a Scrum Master, you’ll be coaching and guiding your team to become self-organising and highly efficient. You will form a ‘dynamic duo’ with your Product Owner and work closely with your main stakeholders. As a Servant Leader you will pave the path for your team, enabling them to bring their best possible performance. As the process owner for your team, you’ll drive continuously improvement, learning and optimise efficiency by promoting lean thinking.

You’ll also be:

  • building a trusting and safe environment for your team

  • hosting Agile ceremonies and embedding Agile ways of working

  • organising and monitoring work in JIRA and Confluence

  • managing Risks and Impediments

  • building relationships

  • an agile / lean ambassador in the organisation

The skills you’ll need

You’ll bring a Scrum Master certification and several years of experience in the job along with a degree, or equivalent, in Technology, Business or Finance, preferably in Computer Science. You’ll also have a strong technical background, ideally with software programming experience.

We’ll also be looking for you to demonstrate:

  • at least five years of experience in working in an agile environment

  • strong coaching and mentoring skills

  • excellent stakeholder management skills

  • strong English language skills and excellent communication skills

  • experience and knowledge of servant leadership principles

  • knowledge of the Avaloq core platform
