What It’s AboutThe Private Debt team at Partners Group focuses on investing into the Direct Debt and Liquid Loan markets on a global basis and delivers investment solutions to clients across closed-end funds, open ended funds, CLOs and separately managed accounts.As a Senior Member Of The Debt Asset Class Experts (ACE) Team Within The Client Solutions Business Line, The Successful Candidate Will Be Working In Partnership With The Broader Private Debt Investment Team And Client Solutions Professionals And As Part Of a Global Team With a Primary Focus On
  • Managing fundraising campaigns across the range of funds offered by the Private Debt team
  • Sourcing separately managed accounts and developing bespoke solutions for clients
  • Developing ideas to broaden the investment or product focus of the Debt business
In addition, it is critical for the successful candidate to work collaboratively with the rest of the global Debt ACE team, focusing across the product spectrum with a global mindset. With that said, this hire will predominately focus on growing the platform in Europe, working in partnership with the senior leadership of the Private Debt team to drive the strategic development of the business. This hire is for a key role within the firm’s overall growth strategy within Private Debt and would be based in Zug or London.What We Expect
  • Bachelor’s degree required, and MBA and/or CFA preferred
  • 8-10 years of investment management / fundraising / banking experience within credit
  • High energy: willingness to spend 25% - 50% of the time travelling
  • Strong balance of technical/product expertise and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record of raising capital
  • Ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external parties in a polished, professional manner
  • Strong network among industry colleagues that results in the reciprocal sharing of ideas, referrals, and introductions
  • Demonstrated work ethic, competitiveness and tenacity required to achieve top performance
  • Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to prioritize
  • Fluency in German
