Our Corporate Finance practice helps clients identify, prepare and execute M&A transactions from a Lead Advisory perspective. We support a broad spectrum of clients including multi-national organisations, private equity and investment firms and private shareholders. Our advisors have a long track-record of completed deals and trained in bulge bracket investment banks and Big4 corporate finance teams. We work closely with our colleagues in transaction services (due diligence), legal and tax to deliver successful transactions.

As a Consultant / Senior Consultant, you would be supporting the M&A team in Geneva, Lausanne or Zürich on all aspects of typical daily M&A work, including transaction execution. You will be integrated into a project team right from the beginning where you will work directly with Swiss and international clients on projects involving different levels of complexity.

How You Can Make An Impact
  • Support M&A projects including sale mandates, buy mandates, financial modelling and related services including M&A strategy
  • Work on day-to-day management of transactions, preparing market assessments, information memoranda, management presentations, valuation analysis and handling client communications
  • Attend client meetings and build supporting documentaries and presentations
  • Be part of an international environment with very professional and like-minded colleagues
  • Develop and broaden your network across within Deloitte and the wider corporate finance community

Who We Are Looking For

  • You are open and curious, and can cope in a fast-paced, challenging environment, effectively prioritizing and handling multiple tasks under tight deadlines
  • A positive, highly motivated individual who exhibits strong leadership and management qualities
  • Strong understanding of professional ethics and regulatory environment
  • Proficiency in financial modelling and valuation methodologies
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with ability to structure and create compelling written documents
  • Fluent English, French and/or German; any other languages are a plus
  • Completed Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics
  • Previous Investment Banking, Private Equity, Management Consulting experience (incl. relevant internships or initial professional experience in Mergers & Acquisitions)
