WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

As a growing, diverse team with backgrounds in technology, entrepreneurship and investing, we are actively seeking a talented Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager to focus on managing and expanding our open innovation services partnerships. This role develops and expands strong relationships between Plug and Play and corporations, building a robust pipeline of partners spanning multiple industry verticals. The role also provides the unique opportunity to collaborate with top global executives and entrepreneurs. As a Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager, you’ll lead strategic alliances and relationships with the business leads and will be instrumental in maintaining strategic partnerships with Ventures, and Partner Success teammates.


HOW YOU WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE?


New Business Development:

  • Identify strategies and opportunities for revenue growth.
  • Forge and develop strong networks and relationships to enable continued rapid growth of Plug and Play.
  • Manage and track a robust pipeline of large, multinational corporations, government entities.

Contract Negotiation/Closing:

  • Work in conjunction with vertical Directors to close corporate membership contracts.
  • Produce, organise, and maintain internal and external sales and marketing materials including presentation decks, proposals, case studies, competitive intelligence, and contact lists.

Client Retention:

  • Work cross-functionally with partner focused teams to meet and execute on client requests.
  • Collaborate with corporate executives at events, deal flow sessions, and office visits to ensure all partners are engaged according to their business needs. Ensure the Company meets Customer’s expectations and deliverables on a timely manner to reduce achieve high retention rates.

Relationship Management and Research:

  • Conduct research to identify new markets and industry sectors, including in-depth business analysis to identify new competitive opportunities.
  • Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs and support in building client reports and presentations.

Team Leadership

  • Develop and coach a best-practices framework of account-based and persona-based prospecting with personalised pitches.
  • Work closely with Venture Analysts and Program Associates, showing a true team effort and leadership.


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Engineering.
  • 5+ years prior experience selling technology products into corporations or selling Corporate solutions.
  • Big 4 Consulting companies or alike experience will be a plus.
  • 3 – 5 years prior experience in or selling to Financial Services and Health will be a plus.
  • Experience with B2B based partnerships.
  • Proven track record of exceeding quotas and effectively negotiating business agreements that impact company performance.
  • Native or fluent in German.
  • Comfortable with Excel, Google Docs, Salesforce CRM, Sales Navigator, and other technology solutions for driving sales.
  • Strong internal and external communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for entrepreneurship is a must and startup experience a plus.
