This Senior Director Sales position provides a unique career opportunity to run the End User Computing business for VMware in Central EMEA. You will lead, steer and scale VMware’s EUC Specialist Team, including 2 Managers to grow the EUC business and to drive the Cloud transformation of our customers. You will represent VMware and EUC in the region at industry events, in major customer and partner engagements and you will work closely with the relevent Press agencies. Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?

  • You have completed the EUC sales & Go-to-Market coverage plan for achieving or over achieving a revenue quota target
  • You maintain the executive customer and partner relations for the EUC business in the region
  • You are working closely with the broader VMware management team in the region to ensure collaboration with other Business Units and to execute on the overall VMware strategy
  • You lead the transformation of the EUC business from an on premise licenses to a subscription based cloud model

The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?

  • You will oversee the day to day operations of the regional EUC Specialist sales teams by coaching sales strategies, pipeline development key account plans
  • You will manage the forecasting process to provide an accurate quarterly and annual forecast and key account plans
  • You will participate in customer meetings and you act as executive sponsor
  • You will be a strong people manager and people development, talent and succession planning is one of your priorities

What is the leadership like for this role? What is the structure and culture of the team like?

The manager for this position is Ralf Gegg, Vice President EUC Sales, EMEA. Ralf has over 25 years experience in the technology sector and strong skills and knowledge to drive Software/SaaS business development and navigate the dynamics of the diverse EMEA market. Before his time leading EUC in EMEA, he led the EUC business in Central EMEA.

Where is this role located?

Remote: This role is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from the location you feel most productive and comfortable. You will be expected to live within 0-4 time zones of the primary location.
