This is a highly visible position, interacting with many internal and external stakeholders at a senior organizational level. Following our 2 new FDA approvals, the incumbent will require a combination of sound strategic thinking and a pragmatic execution to foster Ferring’s ambitious goals.

Join our Global Corporate Development Organization:
The Corporate Development Office (CDO) is responsible for creating a rigorous, ongoing strategic planning and management process to ensure Ferring meets its strategic goals and delivers on its growth ambitions.
The Senior Director of Corporate Development will support this mission and be responsible for creating and growing the company’s performance and change management community across all business functions and geographies. The role is vital to the ensure the implementation and execution of a multi-year strategy for Ferring, by ensuring geographical and functional alignment and consequently impacting the revenue growth, profitability, and the enterprise value of Ferring globally.
You will play a key leadership role across the organisation, advising the Executive Management and their Leadership Teams on matters relating to strategy execution, performance and change management. You will oversee the Enterprise Portfolio Management to facilitate success of key projects and initiatives.

Bridging the gap between the current moment and the futureYour main goal will be to develop and innovate strategies ensuring sharing knowledge and findings between different departments around Ferring.

  • Work closely with various stakeholders in leading the development of the strategy with clear plans for implementation, including streamlining operations, disrupt the current business model, challenge the status quo
  • Guide end-to-end strategy deployment and propose adjustment for existing strategies
  • Continuously monitor performance to determine if strategies need to be adjusted
  • Consequently design, monitor and adapt strategies and long-term capability roadmap, including footprint considerations and analysis, growth, and productivity initiatives, as well as cost efficiency
  • Performance Management- Support business and functional leaders in translating strategy into actionable and quantitative plans
  • Manage Balanced Score card processes to support the leadership team in setting strategic goals alignment and cascading them down: Ensures action and resource requirements are properly aligned to allow for those goals to be met
  • Ensure alignment of Performance Management & monitoring systems across the End-to-End Network.


Behind our innovation…There’s you

  • More than 15 years of experience in corporate or consulting strategy, change management and transformation, ideally including several years within the Healthcare industry
  • Extensive experience in project management across business functions and geographies.Management / Strategy consulting experience is a must
  • Master’s degree in engineering, Lifesciences, Economics or equivalent, ideally seconded by an MBA
  • Relevant experience in enterprise change, strategy definition and implementation, strategic planning
  • Ability to work in complex organizations and implement organizational changes.
  • Able to build relationships, to negotiate & influence, and manage change in matrix environment
  • Motivator and people oriented, effective leader, demonstrated management skills
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellence communication and presentations skills
  • Fluent in English and one other European language
  • Ability to travel on occasional basis


Your location will be either IPC (Copenhagen)at the Ferring International Pharma-Science Center (IPC) in our spectacular and state-of-the-art new domicile, a landmark located next to “Den Blå Planet”, near Copenhagen Airport or FICSA (HQ in St-Prex) in our wonderful building near Geneva Lake.
