One of our clients, a multinational pharmaceutical company, is looking for a Senior Regional Facility Manager.

This role is responsible for facility maintenance, infrastructure & utilities management, employee and business services and performance of site services.

Tasks

• Lead the delivery of the Facility programs, services and global initiatives within the region
• Actively looking after the partnership with Business customers and outsourcing partners, creating a joint view on the future and the strategy to change the workplaces
• Strong focus on people development for our employees.
• Aligning on organizational planning and actively working on succession planning
• Ensure site facilities are aligned with good commercial, laboratory and manufacturing practices, as well as compliance with external and internal requirements
• Share key performance metrics, benchmarks, and standards to establish a growing continuous improvement culture.
• Coordinate inspections on site, as needed
• Coordinate and support Project Development and Delivery teams on capital and infrastructure projects
• Attend and/or chair customer and FM Facilities level governance forums
• Identify and apply programs and methodologies to generate savings and optimize the site and business performance
• Gain and provide site specific data and information to support regional and global metrics, programs and performance analysis
  

Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business, etc. or equivalent required
• Master’s degree in related field, or equivalent preferred
• Several years of experience and knowledge in facilities, pharmaceutical sciences or production, cGMP
• Has shown leadership skills in a multicultural, globally operating organization of reasonable size
• The candidate should have relevant experience in facilities maintenance operations, infrastructure management, space management and regulated facilities
• Strong record of local collaboration ensuring completion of programs and people development
• Opportunity to lead diverse teams through change and dealing with organizational transformation
• Demonstrated knowledge in technical and business subject areas
• Ability to travel regularly between sites, up to 40% of time
• Proficient in English & German
